“CREEP”

This is a piece I made in 2020. I had this old colored pencil drawing & wanted to do more with it. I really just let the creativity flow & do what it wanted & the piece became this.

I ended up gluing the drawing to the back of the canvas & ripping the canvas itself open to reveal the drawing. I wanted it to look like it was coming out of the canvas so I added the fingers which I made from wire, hot glue, & acrylic paint.

I love the outcome & would love to do a revamped version of it!
